*Location:* *White Plains, NY* Client needs a person with very strong BW experience and has experience with the MM/Procurement module. *MUST have current ABAP experience* and BW technical skills. Experience with MM and Finance reconciliations. *Job Description:* Major Purpose of Job: To evaluate existing purchasing data, reports, and implement new approach/strategy to fulfill gaps, and to improve the purchasing reports for more accurate and precise analysis and decision making. Essential Job Functions: Substantial technical expertise required. Must have both a Diversified knowledge of IT, SAP and a strong business orientation in order to provide technical leadership. In particular, the following need to be implemented: • Enhance existing data sources for new field • Install and activate new data sources • Created new custom data sources • Modify customer exit code • Create new set of objects for modified design • Optimize code in routines • Address report level gaps Other major areas of responsibility include: Meeting with user areas in determining production requirements, incident reporting, and problem areas. Preparing and analyzing detailed specifications from which programs systems will be written, and each aspect of the development project, including designing, prototyping, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation. Requirements: Strong programming and technical configuration skills in SAP. This includes (based on the area of responsibility) ABAP (Advanced Business Applications Programming), BW and Portal Development skills. Required Skills: SAP BW consultant specializing in SAP MM/Procurement module. Experience: Candidates need to be very experienced in SAP BW MM/Procurement module. Both functional and technical skills required. Understand the business strategy of a particular function/area and works with the team to define business requirements.
