SAP Security consultants with Gas and Utilities experience New Haven,CT 3 months contract *Job Description*Sap Security Consultant requirement (utilities experience required) The SAP Security Consultant is a customer facing senior role, operating as a technical consultant to the client, which includes IT, Internal Audit, and the business units. This individual will be and remain up to date on the latest risk, control issues, and solutions & Risk, Compliance. *Strategy & Design* Communicate advice on the strategy for design, deployment, and maintenance of SAP Security architecture. Develop and maintain key system security metrics; proactively looking for and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. *Standards & Communications* Assist in the development, maintenance, and communication of security standards, policies, principles and guidelines for use across the SAP landscape. Develop & maintain authorization process design and related documentation for SAP systems. Individual will be responsible for all aspects of Roles design, creation and association with transaction codes in the functional areas of specialization and all aspects of systems Security monitoring. For example: systems Logs, security Logs, user access, and BASIS user groups, monitoring SAP AIS profiles. Definition and creation of Enterprise Portal roles. Association of Enterprise Portal iViews with Portal roles. Ensure all security procedures (auditing/monitoring activities) follow CSV guidelines and SOX compliance. All aspect of the SAP infrastructure/landscape/application security, client properties, and SAP license administration.. Accountable for SOD analysis reporting for all Supply Chain, Finance, HR & *ISU platforms (must have)*. Responsible for creating an environment where knowledge and ideas are shared among team members.
