Job Description:

Responsibility

• Includes all the requirements of a QA Engineer

• Assists in the development of the software quality assurance
(SQA) test strategy for moderately to highly complex IT initiatives across
multiple SQA domains by analyzing business and technology requirements to
ensure testability and traceability;

• collaborating with cross-functional IT and business stakeholders
to review and approve the overall testing approach;

• verifying the validation of test data and environment requirements

• Provides end-to-end quality assurance throughout the entire
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for moderately to highly complex IT
initiatives in multiple SQA domains by developing and executing front-
and/or back-end test cases and scenarios in accordance with the GQS
framework and company testing methodology;

• collaborating with cross functional IT teams to gain buy-in and
approval of test plans;

• tracking software quality metrics across testing phases (e.g.,
SIT, Performance, UAT, Automation, Production Validation);

• managing the software defect life cycle;

• participating in root cause analysis of identified defects;

• enforcing entry and exit criteria throughout the SDLC;

• identifying and escalating quality risks, issues, conflicts,
and/or resistance across teams throughout the SDLC;

• Assists in the development of software quality assurance (SQA)
project plans for moderate to highly complex projects by participating in
the identification of project scope and level of effort (LOE) estimates;

• Assisting management to identify necessary resources and
associated skill-sets required to deliver project objectives;

• Identifying training needs and mentoring junior team members as
appropriate

Requirements

• 4+ years leading performance test project efforts with
onshore/offshore coordination

• 7+ years performance test experience including scripting and
execution

• HP Performance Center/LoadRunner/ NMON/ Dynatrace/ Wily

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related
field and 6+ years’ experience in SQA or related field. Additional
equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a leadership role with or without
direct reports.

• Master's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field
preferred

• Quality Assurance Institute (QAI) or American Society for Quality
(ASQ) certification preferred

• Institution of Electrical Engineering (IEEE), International
Organization for Standardization (ISO), or Six Sigma certification preferred

• 3+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization
preferred.

• 3+ years of experience working with third party IT vendors
preferred

• 4+ years of IT experience in the retail industry preferred

• 4+ years of experience working on project(s) involving the
implementation of software development life cycle(s) (SDLC).

• 3+ years of experience writing technical documentation in a
software testing or quality assurance environment.

‘implementation assessment’.

oPast experience in successfully executing CMMI based process
consultancy assignment for major client, at least for Maturity Level 3 and

oGap assessment of customer’s as-is Quality Management System (QMS) v/s
CMMI, and designing roadmap for enhancing the QMS

v1.3 framework and enhanced QMS to customer team

oConducting independent ‘implementation’ assessment of the enhanced
QMS, and understanding of challenges faced by the delivery teams that needs
to be factored back in the QMS

oAs needed, co-ordinating with external CMMI consulting firm engaged by
the customer for CMMI assessment and working along with the same for
designing final assessment roadmap and ATMs



oClient facing skills, and hence very good communication and
collaboration skills (written, spoken).

o(Preferred not mandatory) Good knowledge in implementation of High
Maturity practices is also preferred; hence must be able to understand the
statistical concepts involved

*Responsibilities:*

   We are looking for a Systems Level Engineer who
will develop real time, systems level software for an white listing /
Security control application. It's important to note that this is NOT and
embedded systems developer nor is it strictly an application level
developer. The ideal candidate for this position must understand how to
develop Kernal Drivers/ Device Drivers that uses Windows ringtone Intering
Communication utilizes low level operating system calls as well as calls to
custom device drivers. Basically most work will be done at a Kernal/Device
Driver level. Those with Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Degrees may find this position attractive because of the machine and system
level control aspect of the job. This is a high priority high visibility
position.


*Required Skills:*

 6+ years of Kernel Drivers/ Device Drivers experience

   Experience with C++  is a must

   Windows development exposure is must
  Exposure to system level machine controls and Instrument control
systems   using custom  device drivers.
 Excellent Communication skill - verbal and written
 BA degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering
degrees are better fit for the type of work needed.
