*SQL Server Report Developer* 4 months Philadelphia, PA Rate:45$/hr on c2c
Project Description: Report development team is expanding to manage increased demand in reporting activities due to new business. The team is responsible for all custom report development for client deliverables including client statements, extracts, and various custom reports. All reporting is developed using SSRS and Crystal Reports. Some batch programming in .NET C# is also required. All development team members are expected to be "hands on" and participate in all aspects of development work. Requires an experienced SQL Server developer (2008/2005) with strong stored procedure development experience. The person needs to have excellent communication skills as close interaction with the business team is required for this position. Looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years experience, who is eager to take on responsibility and be part of a very dynamic team. Position Functions or Responsibilities: - Provides hands-on SQL Server developement creating stored procedures and functions - Creates various SSRS reports, Crystal Reports, and SSIS packages - Ensures all activities are being performed based on project commitments and communicates status to client sponsor or to business analysts - Responsible for implementing and adhering to change management, risk management, and issue management - Actively engages managers and other team members to interpret and finalize technical requirements and to ensure complete specifications for the development team - Assists in testing activities as needed to ensure deliverables are met - Provides support to the creation of technical architecture and technical design documents as required ? Skills and Experience - Very proficient in writing SQL stored procedures, report writing, and extract development - Experience with .NET C# is required to develop batch programs - Ability to effectively multi-task assignments and remain calm under stressful situations - Ability to adapt well to changing priorities, requirements and client deadlines - Understands urgency of business needs and can adjust effectively to these needs?
