The company’s goal is to provide them with a tool to handle their reporting needs and ensure they are comfortable and confident in using it. You will work with users and financial analysts to help deliver reports and dashboards to satisfy each department’s needs. More so, you will provide overall administration, configuration, security, and maintenance for the Cognos environment. This will include creating, modifying and maintaining Transformer models and cubes. You should have experience with alternate drill-down, partitioning, and custom views. You will also be asked to develop and maintain Framework Manager models and packages based on user needs. Consequently, you’ll produce reports and dashboards using Analysis Studio, Business Insight Advanced, and Report Studio. These responsibilities will include distributing reports via email using blasting or sending exception reports using Event Studio.
