*Title: Sr. QA Engineer* *Location: Emeryville, CA*
*Length: Full Time Position.* *GREEN CARD HOLDERS OR US CITIZENS ONLY* * * *Job Responsibilities:* * * *• Working collaboratively with the Team and Product Owner to understand the User Stories and their acceptance criteria* *• Leading in the design and development of test data and scenarios* *• Learning individual components of system to facilitate the development and execution of comprehensive test plans* *• Contributing to the development and execution of test strategies and approaches that leverage automation highly* *• Making quality issues and risks, and their business impacts transparent. Ensure any unresolved issues are documented and escalated through the proper channel* *• Helping coordinate the quality and testing efforts across multiple Scrum Teams and/or products* *• Champion architecting for testability within the development process* *• Helping maintain QA test environments, and proactively recommending tool and hardware improvements* *• Promoting continuous improvements and effective use of Agile practices and principles* *• Keep management abreast of risks and quality issues and how they will impact the business* *• Improve software quality through testing and advocacy, with a constant focus on the customer experience* * * *Required Skills and Experience:* * * *• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience* *• 8+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, including 6+ years’ experience with Test Automation* *• A demonstrable understanding of Agile development and process concepts, practices, and procedures, and knowledge of the SDLC, QA and test methodologies and processes* *• Ability to learn new technologies quickly* *• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with cross-functional teams* *• Experience with one or more products through all the phases of the SDLC* *• Understanding of web technologies, development languages and environments, with one or more technology stacks* *• A strong foundation of knowledge in both the Windows and Unix environments* *• Experience testing database-driven applications including data validation using SQL* *• Experience writing, executing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts (Selenium, Ruby preferred)* *• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, facilitation and collaboration skills* *• Basic knowledge of release, change, configuration and defect management 3+ years in a Quality Assurance role* * * *Desired Skills and experience:* * * *• Experience supporting high transactional multi-tier web application architecture and development* *• A working knowledge of SMTP and DNS - experience with email/messaging applications* *• Understanding of LAMP stack would be a huge plus* *• Experience with VMware* *• Experience with Ruby * * * -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "REQSRESUMES" group.
