Position: Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS)Architect Location: Milwaukee, WI
Duration: 3-6 months *Primary Purpose:* - *Responsible for the efficient implementation & administration of TWS 8.6 Job-scheduler environment in a multi-location model* - *Responsible for service delivery and support, including configuration, incident, problem, release, change, availability, and continuity management within defined Operating Level Agreements* *Primary Duties:* - *Define & Implement an appropriate multi-location implementation architecture including Disaster Recovery for TWS 8.6 deployment in a Linux environment supporting FTA's / DA's across Windows, Unix and Linux platforms * - *Define & Implement an appropriate architecture to integrate TWS environment to support Datastage, EI, ticketing needs in JCI* - *Coordinate with TWS team members and other JCI personnel during the implementation exercise in an efficient manner* - *Provide level II and level III support for TWS 8.6 operations* - *Monitor and evaluate system performance and perform tuning functions to achieve optimal system efficiency and throughput* - *Participate in planning and execution of server workload migrations and consolidations in conjunction with Service Delivery team and Project Engineering team* - *Administer the TWS Infrastructure present at multiple client data centers* - *Monitor vendors’ support facilities for software updates and recommend & implement maintenance to keep systems current and well within vendors’ support requirements* - *Develop Disaster Recovery plans, procedures and test scenarios and participates in regular DR rehearsals* - *Provide level II incident and problem management with responsibility for resolution and root cause analysis of the most complex hardware and software issues within Operating Level Agreements. * - *Monitor, maintain and report system availability within Operating Level Agreements. * - *Monitor system resource utilization and support capacity planning by capturing data, analyzing trends and making upgrade recommendations* - *Maintain knowledge of the latest developments impacting the TWS environment and make recommendations that will improve efficiency, throughput, capabilities, and/or capacity.* *Job Specifications:* - *5 – 10 years of experience in administration of TWS environments including architecting / implementing / supporting TWS 8.6* - *Ability to work with a diverse group of people of different skills, backgrounds, departments and management levels.* - *Excellent communication skills and proficiency in speaking English* - *Preferred to be available 5 business days a week at JCI Corporate Headquarters in Milwaukee (Wisconsin)* - *Duration of engagement is expected to be 3 to 6 months and would be subject to renew depending on the project needs* -- *Thanks & Regards* *Rathna Kumar | Senior-IT Recruiter |* *Email: **rath...@usmsystems.com** , Phone:** **703-349-2660** * -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "REQSRESUMES" group.
