This person will be taking conceptual designs and UML documents, and then drafting detailed design plans for a development staff based here in Philadelphia and in India. This person needs to be highly skilled in Web Architecture and Design in a SOA Environment. We are a Microsoft shop, our development platform is .NET. Experience w/ UML's, sequence diagramming, will sit in JAD sessions but not run them, have a developer's background- all MS architecture and development background ideal. Someone who can take a detailed design and turn it into a solution. The documentation has to be extremely detailed. Today, it is a UI, but they need to build it for enterprise services. Overall- they will be doing component architecture, writing detailed designs, make it testable- has unit tests built into it, and have the designs detailed enough for releases too. Taking the systems requirements document and translating to a detail designs Top 5 Requirements: µ Component architecture exp µ Understanding of SOA and MS architecture µ WCF µ Web Services µ .NET architecture experience plus .NET development background Also Required: Must have experience working as an Architect or at least have documented experience doing Architect work such as design, UML, etc. 8+ years experience in developing Software applications using Microsoft Technologies. 5+ years experience in Microsoft .NET Technologies and Microsoft Visual Studio. 5+ years experience in ASP.NET, C# and SQL Server, Web Services development 5+ years experience in complex web projects in a corporate environment on a customer-facing Web site including performance optimization. 3+ years experience in corporate websites. 5+ years experience in JavaScript. Experience in developing applications with Enterprise standards and Microsoft .NET technology background; Windows Communications Foundation (WCF) and Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) experience a must. Experience with (classic) ASP / VB Script a plus. Design and Architecture using object-oriented methodologies Strong SQL Server experience Strong speaking, writing, collaboration and follow-up skills. Ability to work independently and as a team member. Excellent skills in emotional intelligence, influencing, and persuasion with individual and group stakeholders. Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Experience in Cable / Telecom is a plus. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related disciplines; extensive, directly-related experience may be considered in-lieu of degree(s). -- Title : SharePoint/.Net Developer Location : Chicago, IL Interview Process: Phone then F2F Scope: .NET and BI Developer needed for a project to replace existing ColdFusion custom-built solution. This individual is expected to have experience working in SharePoint and Project Server experience which may include commercial off-the-shelf products. This person should have a minimum of 3 years' experience in SharePoint Development. This person will work with the Technical Lead, which tasks and artifacts are necessary for Project. This person is then responsible for all .NET and BI development These tasks will include: µ .NET Development µ Creating custom WebParts and InfoPath forums. µ Design and Develop all reports using SSRS µ Create analytical applications using Silverlight tools µ Implement Excel services µ Participate in code reviews and use ClearCase to ensure weekly builds occur µ Use ClearQuest to complete assigned task Minimum/General Experience Required: µ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field, or equivalent work experience in similar work environment. µ Minimum 3+ years of IT work experience in large environments. µ Expertise in Microsoft Business Intelligence technologies like SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
