Job Description:*
Our client's primary project initially will be to work on porting their
IBM-Tivoli Monitoring and Event Management from a Windows environment to a
Linux platform. It was initially implemented on Windows but the client has
found that it will be better in the Unix world. Candidate will work with
one of the Windows Admins and the Tivoli Admin in defining and building the
Linux platform and then porting the application. At the same time the
client has Mission Critical Applications on IBM-AIX platforms where they
may need secondary support – there is a possibility the candidate will
assist in an IBM-AIX Administration as well.
