*Pega Architect* NYC, NY 6+ Months Contract *$55/hr on C2C Max* Client is moving an existing *PowerBuilder workflow system over to Pegasystems PRPC 5.5*. The initial project is to extract business rules from the existing application and to create a strategy and design around bringing the functionality into Pega. With that said, I would be looking for an *architect level/designer with experience in PRPC v5.5, heavy Java development experience, XML*, and at least 4+ *years of Pega knowledge*. They have to be able to think about design and then implementation. If they have experience in *converting a customers existing application to Pega,*. Experience with *upgrading older versions of Pega to 5.5 (like 5.1 to 5.5),* some leadership/management experience with offshore developers, Experience with Oracle is needed.
