*Title : *Sr. SSIS BI Developer *Location : Phoenix, AZ* *Duration : 6+ Months* *Rate : OPEN* *Immediate Inetrview with closure* *Need Locals who can go for Face2Face * *Job Description:* The SSIS Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer will provide support on projects including designing, building, and maintaining metadata models and complex ETL packages and OLAP cubes. This position will work with a variety of business users to identify and document business requirements convert those requirements into technical specifications for data/reporting solutions, and ensuring deliverable commitments are met. This role requires a broad range of skills, the ability to step in to different roles depending on the size and scope of the project, and proven experience developing successful Business Intelligence solutions using the Microsoft BI stack. Responsibilities • Develops advanced BI applications using the MS BI stack including SSAS, SSIS, T-SQL/stored procedures as well as MDX • Analyzes and improves existing dashboards, reports and reporting systems • Assists in designing extensions to our Data Warehouse systems • Designs and develops Business Intelligence solutions using multidimensional cubes including MOLAP and ROLAP • Provides training and expertise to business users and other stakeholders on utilizing SSAS cubes for their reporting needs • Works closely with the Data Architecture team and provides technical design recommendations on the data mart structures which support analytical applications • Provides and owns the technical details for implementation and maturing of BI solutions • Designs functional specs for BI front end applications including dash boards and reporting, considering appropriate data flow and capture • Works with business users and other stakeholders to understand business processes, and translates them into functional and non-functional specifications for BI solutions • Identifies problem trends and corrective actions and documenting these through modification of existing best practices guidelines • Provides expertise and guidance to other developers in the use of the toolset • Performs other duties as assigned or apparent Requirements • BS Degree CS or MIS or equivalent experience in related roles • 5+ years of experience delivering solutions utilizing the entire Microsoft BI stack (SSAS, SSIS) • 5+ years of experience with SQL Server/T-SQL programming in creation and optimization of stored procedures, triggers and user defined functions • 5+ years of Microsoft SQL Server database development (TSQL) experience • 5+ years of experience working in a data warehouse environment and a strong understanding of dimensional data modeling concepts • Must be able to build Business Intelligence solutions in a collaborative, agile development environment • Strong exposure to OLAP systems • Knowledge of current Microsoft .NET technologies including C#, VB.NET, ASP.Net, and SharePoint highly desired • Working knowledge of Team Foundation Services 2012 • Working knowledge of Share Point 2010 and Performance Point • Demonstrated ability to use discretion and make sound decisions • Ability to excel in a collaborative and distributed team environment • Ability to work with a minimal amount of direction while being pro-active in keeping their management informed of project related issues • Ability to work under pressure • Ability to respectfully question ideas and share a point of view with others in support of the business requirements and needs • Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with members of the organization at all hierarchal levels *Thanks and Regards* *Rishi* *IT Recruiter| Ven Soft LLC* *4221 Walney Road, suite 500, Chantilly, VA 20151* *Office: **703-763-2541 (896)* *| Fax:* *732 875 0535* *Email id:* *ri...@vensoftllc.com <ri...@vensoftllc.com>* *| **www.Vensoftllc.com <http://www.vensoftllc.com/> * *Ven Soft LLC is ranked 616 – on the 2014 Inc. 5000 List and is successfully providing full IT consulting services to Fortune 500 firms with offices all over US and with headquarters in Fairfax, Virginia* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "REQSRESUMES" group.
