*Title: Systems Engineer * *Location: Hartford, CT* *Duration : 8 months* ****Need Locals* *RESPONSIBILITIES:* Installation · Plan hardware/software installation for case management system · Configure and implement hardware/software installation · Coordinate with vendor; initiate vendor software · Performs preventative maintenance tasks to ensure reliable performance and recoverability of information technology systems and services. · Prepare for and conduct systems testing · Produce documentation · Participate on a project team Deliverables will include · Project monitoring and controls procedures · Weekly reports to management · Vendor questionnaires · Other deliverables as may be required *EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:* · BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field · 10+ years of recent, relevant experience in systems support, analysis, operations and hardware/software troubleshooting · Demonstrated mastery of hardware and software virtualization, including advanced high-availability configurations, disaster recovery implementation and good knowledge of performance optimization. · Demonstrated knowledge of server hardware and hardware components, hardware troubleshooting and resolution. · Strong written and oral communications skills · Prior experience working in a legal or law-related environment is strongly preferred, as is familiarity with Law Base or a comparable case management system.
