*Position: Mainframe DBA* Duration: 6+ Months
Location: Dallas, TX Primary Skills: * CA Datacom (including DataQuery) database environment; Datacom Server; Datacom CICS Services* Mainframe Datacom DBA Qualifications: v Background in Database Administration, monitoring and tuning of CA-Datacom/DB and associated products to support the TAPDB Databases on the Mainframe Platform. v Knowledge of z/OS and mainframes to include JCL, TSO/ISPF. v Support for the CA Datacom (including DataQuery) database environment; Datacom Server; Datacom CICS Services v Build user requirement tables (URTs) to grant read/write access to database tables. v Perform database administration and Monitor database index and table growth v Monitor and analyze database environment in order to recommend and/or implement modifications to database structures to optimize performance. v Build and execute jobs to extend/reallocate the size of the indexes and tables. v Create scheduled jobs to load data from external sources and to reorganize/optimize database tables v Provide 24x7 on-call support for all Datacom Databases. v Performance tuning ,Capacity and planning reporting v Assist in the redesign of all mainframe databases. v Reload/refresh development and test regions with production data to support software development. v Remove obsolete database structures as databases are retired or migrated. v Maintain Database Toolset (JCL, Dataquery, PROCs, Datareporter, RPF) and SOPs. v Attend daily Coordination Meetings, weekly Change Control Meetings and provide status reports. v Provide assistance to users for database and SQL problems, questions and error conditions. v Provide assistance to users to run database utility jobs. v Maintain Datacom Accounting tables in all Production regions Thanks & Regards, *Raghavendra Gaddam*, Agile Enterprise Solutions Inc Phone: 630-242-6423 Ext: 221 !!
