Long Term Contract Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field, or equivalent work experience in similar work environment. - Minimum 5 years of IT work experience. Testing background and hands on experience with test tools* (TSO, File-Aid, capture/playback, Mercury Interactive). * - ITS software knowledge helpful. Work toward certifications including: *CSQE or CSQA preferred, professional test tool certification (Mercury, Rational, Compuware) *Function as the technical resource across several technical projects focusing on the software *Troubleshoot Operating Systems for memory leaks, network issues, storage issues, hardware failures, application installation issues and backup issues.* Monitor system resources; plan acquisition and replacement of hardware resources as needed. Act as project liaison and coordinate with network security analysts for maintaining system patch level. Create Operating System images of Windows for network installations. Knowledge of Windows Intel and Optron based hardware Knowledge of virtualization using Windows VMware Knowledge of Hitachi Storage Area Network (SAN) is a plus. Experience in Windows services and security Worked and performed in heterogeneous environments. Must have training skills in sharing best practices.
