*Job Title : Lead SAP Functional FICO Consultant Location : IL Duration : 6+months Hourly Rate : $50/Hr on C2C* ** Responsibilities: Conceptualize, articulate and implement SAP FICO business solutions Knowledge of FI/CO integration points with MM, SD, Taxware and to multiple legacy systems. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with business contacts, IT departments and engage the business in evaluating opportunities for process integration and refinements Lead the analysis, requirement development, design, documentation, implementation and maintenance of small to medium IT solutions for business processes Functional review, design and development of major and minor SAP FICO releases. Implement best industry standards and practices required for global business solutions. Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and groups. Experience with using Solution Manager for Project Life cycle management Experience working directly with SAP functional and technical developers, as well as technical architecture and infrastructure teams. Provide SAP FICO support for production issues/escalations Escalate issues to management as appropriate. Qualifications/Required Skillset: Minimum of Five years hands-on experience configuring SAP Financials modules including: Account Receivables, Account Payable (including Logistics Invoice Verification), General Ledger, Special Purpose Ledger, Cost Center Accounting, Product Costing, Internal Order Accounting, Profit Center Accounting. Experience with intercompany accounting and multiple currencies in global SAP environments. Experience configuring and supporting Sales/Use tax determination for North America and Europe Must have experience convincing business leaders and peers about the proper use of standard SAP functionality and business process flows. Ability to handle ambiguous situations and work with individuals with conflicting viewpoints. Ability to consistently use formal incident /request management process and tool. Ability to work on tasks to completion with a minimum of supervision. Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines. Strong analytical thinking, organizational skills and attention to detail. Education: Degree in IT or Accounting Certification in SAP areas is highly desirable but not required. 5+ Years of practical experience in the required Functional areas of SAP. Candidates will have done at least 2 end-to-end full life-cycle SAP FICO Implementations.
