*Dear Partners,* * * *We have an Urgent requirement for Networking Architect (Infrastructure Architect) * * * *Duration: 6 Months* * * *Location: Detroit, MI* * * *Position Description: * * * *Infrastructure Architect to assist in the analysis and re-design of the Enterprise Active Directory and WINS infrastructure to support our divestiture efforts. * *Responsibilities include: - * * * - Creation of architecture and process documentation for the current state Active Directory environment. - Create and utilize tools and scripts to gather Active Directory and network metrics. - Analyze metrics against data center consolidation objectives to re-architect Active Directory and WINs Infrastructure. - Optimize Active Directory and WINS through the configuration sites, site links and subnets to align to the physical network. - Develop plans and operational run books to implement new infrastructure design. - Provide detailed project status and milestones to the project management office. - Coordinate with operational teams and remote sites to implement the configurations. *Skills Required: * - Strong Microsoft Windows 2003 Server Expertise - Strong Microsoft Active Directory Engineering Expertise - Strong Networking skills including subnets, latency, TCP\IP, DNS and WINS - Active Directory Network Design including Sites and Subnets - Active Directory Services and Replication - Active Directory scripting and coding abilities for gathering metrics and data - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Technical leadership skills to lead and complete project initiatives *Skills Preferred: * - Knowledge of enterprise applications that integrate with Active Directory (Exchange, SMS, LCS, WSS, MOSS, OCS). - Multiple platform experience with Windows, Linux or UNIX.
