Title: Sr. BI Data Warehouse Developer *(SAP BW)* Location: Hopkins, MN Duration: initial 3 months but will extend long term Candidates MUST attend a *face to face interview*.. no phone interviews *Please don't share irrelevant profiles * Summary: We are looking for BI Back End Developer candidates who have experience with *BW data modeling, HANA modeling, data modeling in SQL Server/Oracle databases*. Experience creating stored procedures and SQL is also desired. The Sr. BI Data Warehouse Developer is responsible for creating technical designs, developing and deploying technical components of BI Solutions. This position is responsible for understanding the business, functional, and customer requirements to analyze and design technical solutions. This position utilizes established development methodologies (strategies, positions, patterns, development standards, integration, documentation, and testing) to manage the product development lifecycle. Principal Responsibilities: Technical Design and Development • Work with the businesses and project team members (Architect, Solution Designer) to understand and drive solutions which solve business problems. This may include prototyping potential solutions, or modifying existing work to meet new or changing needs through the use of development standards, processes, and tools available to the team. • Enabling ad-hoc/self-service BI solutions through various solutions • Build or modify appropriate documentation as defined by team standards. This will include assuring that the solution is supportable and the knowledge is transferred to the support team Development Testing and Quality • Understanding of using structured data, dimensional models or cubes and various forms of ETL for reporting • Build tables/views or data warehousing on Oracle or MS SQL Server environments • Develop database programming on Oracle or MS SQL Server • Ensure technical designs accurately represent the requirements and functional designs. • Ensure development and architecture standards are met.
