Job Description:
v Red Hat Certified Datacenter Specialist
v Red Hat Certified Security Specialist
v Red Hat Certified Architect
v Red Hat Certified Virtualization Administrator
v Installing, configuring and maintaining Linux Servers (SUSE, RHEL, OEL)/
Virtualization (KVM, Vmware)
v Installation and configuration of HA environment using Linux cluster or
Veritas Cluster.
v Configuration and administration of LVM and Veritas logical volume
manager including multipath, SAN Boot configuration
v Installing and Maintaining kickstart environment
v Patch and Package administration
v Exposure to C7000 Chassis and worked on Hp Blade/Rack Mount servers.
v Basic understanding of SAP Module to host on SUSE Linux
v Writing shell scripts to acomplish day to day system administration task
v Configuring and supporting domains
v Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issue
v Administer and configure various FS like JFS,ext2, ext3, OCFS & Pseudo FS
v LDAP
v Monitoring Tools (like BMC Patrol, HP openview, IBM Tivoli)
v Capacity planning and fine tune system for optimal performance
v Knowledge on Apache virtual hosting, SSL website config
v Understanding of SAN and NAS storage.
v Administration of NIS or LDAP environment
v Configuring Unix Security baseline
v DNS
v Performance Management & fine tuning
v Red Hat Certified Technician
v The Novell Certified Linux Engineer10
v Red Hat Certified Engineer
v Samba
v NIS+
v Sendmail / Exim / Postfix / Qmail
v Experience in System Fault Tolerance Design, Business continuity and
Disaster recovery planning
v Worked on Production systems
v Datacenter understanding
v Experience with Server Migration, Installation, Upgrades and Patching
