We have a new requirement in for a .NET resource with Silverlight in the
Philadelphia area. They must have Silverlight, they must have WCF and they
must be reasonably local. Please make sure they fit the bill before you send
them.
Position: Senior .NET Consultant (NOTE: ONLY LOCALS TO PA WILL BE CONSIDERED)
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Duration: 6++ Months
We are seeking a Senior .Net Consultant to work on our Enterprise
Silverlight/Web framework. This consultant will work within a team environment
on the latest Microsoft development technologies. Innovative projects including
Financial Systems and Reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform analysis, design of technical specifications, coding, testing, and
support of new and existing customer facing applications.
- Developing new modules and business processing within our Composite
Silverlight/Web Application.
- Demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of the software development lifecycle
and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
- Will create applications utilizing C#, ASP.NET, Silverlight with Visual
Studio 2010, SQL Server 2008 and SSRS.
- The ability to adapt to new technology is critical as is competency in the
architecture and design of complex Internet and Intranet solutions.
- Ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience in providing technical
leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
- Maintain an expertise in industry standards and Microsoft development
products.
Requirements:
- Strong Microsoft Development skills: C#, WCF Services, Web Services,
ASP.NET, SQL Server 2008, SSRS and Object Oriented Development.
- Strong Web Experiences including: Web Content Management, CSS, HTML,
JavaScript
- Knowledge of project planning techniques and project life cycle planning is
desirable.
- Working knowledge and experiences with WPF/Silverlight and Data Warehousing
are ideal
- Excellent oral and written communication skills along with strong
facilitation and problem solving skills are required.
