*Position: **Senior Interaction Designer * *Location: **Waltham, MA* *Duration: **6 Months CTH* RELEVANT PORTFOLIO REQUIRED. Client is looking for an energetic, creative and technically savvy senior interactive designer to work within our User Experience Design Studio team! The Senior Interaction designer will work within a collaborative, cross-functional project team to design portals, applications and web properties. The senior Interaction designer will contribute to the visual design and positively impact the overall user experience while following a user-centered design process and while considering all technological platforms. The senior Interaction designer will partner with the Experience designers, other Interaction designers, web developers, content writers and Experience managers to understand and translate information architecture, navigation and process flows into easy-to-use and aesthetically beautiful solutions. *Responsibilities:* § Discover, design and build new user experiences to drive the next generation of portals, applications and web properties across platforms. § Design visually stunning, cutting-edge graphics, animations and interactions for websites, portals and applications. § Produce visual assets needed by development team. § Contribute to building the company brand on portals, applications, mobile apps and websites by executing user interface design consistently on all deliverables. § In partnership with user experience designers, design concepts for information architecture, navigation, page layout, information displays and interactional components of websites and mobile applications. § Refine low- to high-fidelity wireframes into designs using information architecture, navigational models, process flows, page layout, information displays and interactional components based on user research and in partnership with user experience designers. § Research and communicate trends and best practices related to visual design and branding. § Develop design standards or guidelines and other documentation to assist team in consistently producing graphics for websites, applications and portals. § Mentor and oversee/review the work done by more junior level UI designers. *Preferred Experience and Skills:* § 4+ years designing native mobile applications including both iOS and Android platforms. § 4+ years designing for the web, including applications and mobile devices following user-centered and responsive design principles. § Undergraduate or graduate degree in web design, interaction design, multimedia, visual design, design or related field. § Ability to work collaboratively with team and internal clients. § Proficiency with time management, as an ability to work quickly under pressure and meet deadlines is essential.. § High energy and positive attitude with interest in learning new technology and skills. § Ability to work with developers to make design concepts a reality. § Strong communication skills.
