Linting in OpenSolaris is a bit broken. Some components can be linted,
some not. (That's ignoring the stuff that doesn't even lint in ON.)
So we can't be too rigid about requiring external contributors to lint
their submissions right now.

any change to the source requires a bug and a formal review/test/RTI cycle,
so yes, that will have to be done by someone.
