Try enabling servlet hack for that specific webapp. I believe that
should resolve the issue.

It's part of the resin configuration... in your resin-web.xml, just add
web-app
class-loader
servlet-hacktrue/servlet-hack
/class-loader
/web-app
the configuration is inside your web-app/ configuration.
Search for the configuration setting in Resin docs.
