Also, you need to use a different string to hash, and use base64 encoding: echo -n "user:resin:password" | openssl dgst -md5 -binary | uuencode - m - -- Scott > > regards > Nils > > ___ > resin-interest mailing list > resin-interest@caucho.com > http://maillist.caucho.com/mailman/listinfo/resin-interest ___ resin-interest mailing list resin-interest@caucho.com http://maillist.caucho.com/mailman/listinfo/resin-interest

[Resin-interest] Creating resin-admin md5 password
I attempted to create an md5 password hash for resin-admin via: echo "password" | openssl dgst -md5 But the security authenticator doesn't appear to like that. Is there another way I should be creating an md5 hash for the resin_admin_password field? -- John Ellis [EMAIL PROTECTED] ___ resin-interest mailing list resin-interest@caucho.com http://maillist.caucho.com/mailman/listinfo/resin-interest
