Upgrades/downgrades are simpler too for those longtime users who link 
the init.d/... startup script to the bin/ dir.

The bin/ directory only had a resin.sh script in it before.  Do you want
that back?  All it does is run "java -jar lib/resin.jar", followed by
the commands you pass in.  If it's helpful, we can replace it.
