I think I fixed the problem. I had to add additional libraries to the make command. I changed this:
make "PROXY_LIBS=-lpthread -lc"; to this: make "PROXY_LIBS=-lpthread -lc -lcrypto -lssl"; Resin now starts with OpenSSL configured.
