Position :SQL Developer Location:RI, MA, CT Duration:6 month contract Job Description: Design and write high quality optimized SQL code for research and analysis on Large SQL Server data warehouse. Use SSIS packages and other Business Intelligence tools to research data and generate reports. Understand business requirements and convert it into quality SQL code for Database specific project. Must have good experience with optimally using Very large databases, Transact SQL programming, SSIS. Must have good experience with OLAP tools, building complex cubes for business analysis. Ability to document process, code, and produce technical documentation when required. This is not a development environment – rather a high paced environment, requires rapid turn around and quick understanding on business process. A good candidate would have worked in similar environment supporting business managers/analysts from database side, should be able to fetch data from Very Large Database quickly and be creative with database in getting results/report. Technical Knowledge: T-SQL; SQL Server 2005, SQL Analysis Server 2005, SQL Server Integration Services, Relational database concepts.
