The incumbent will serve as a subject matter expert for the HCM system, and will act as a resource for the design, development, and support the system. The incumbent will be responsible for consulting with HR and business functions to understand the business problems and needs, and then working with HR Systems and Analytics to create solutions that address the current needs and are agile enough to address future requirements as well. The incumbent will be responsible for operational support for the Global HCM system, and will be responsible for identifying alternative solutions, managing the implementation of the appropriate resolutions, and determining long-term impacts of changes to HR technologies and operations.* *ACCOUNTABILITIES: * - *Support the design, development and performance of the company’s Global HCM System and related business data and processes. Focus on identifying trends, determining root cause of problems, predicting future implications and determining solutions to drive effective business decisions.* - *Partner with implementation vendor and IT in development of Global HCM data interfaces and systems integration.* - *Support release management, reviewing release summary and release readiness documents from system vendors, identifying enhancements relevant to the HCM system and impacts to downstream systems. * - *Manage relationships with HR&A stakeholders to proactively identify and address issues and provide timely support.* - *Support efforts to establish, document, and audit clear, consistent, and efficient processes for the maintenance, data integrity and security of HR-related information for employee and non-employee workers including organizational structure management. Support business process strategies for end-to-end HR processes to achieve efficiency, productivity and improved control.* - *Create and manage requirements, design, configuration, testing, and support activities for HCM systems.* - *Manage transition and decommissioning of legacy applications as required, ensuring future access needs, retention, and compliance per business requirements* - *Provide comprehensive analysis of all Master Data maintained in HCM systems along with all other upstream and downstream business systems, including, but not limited to those supporting sales, IT infrastructure, R&D, Finance, and Payroll.* - *Provide project management oversight for decentralized projects, programs, and initiatives.* - *Plan, coordinate, and execute testing efforts for changes impacting HCM system.* *EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: * - *BS/BA required, preferably in a business or technology field.* - *5+ years experience in the implementation, development, and support of technology solutions.* - *3+ years experience in HR systems, including Core HCM, Learning Management Systems (LMS), Compensation, Benefits, Performance Management, Goals, or Reporting / Analytics.* - *1+ years experience as project manager for technology implementation and support efforts.* - *Workday HCM development, configuration, implementation and/or support experience preferred.* - *One or more Workday HCM training/certification preferred:* 1. *HCM Fundamentals* 2. *Workday Core Concepts* 3. *Workday Report Writer, Workday Calculated Fields, Advanced Reporting and Analytics OR Workday Reporting: Basics to Analytics* 4. *Custom Fields: Configuration & Administration* 5. *Workday Report Designer (BIRT)* 6. *Configurable Security Fundamentals* 7. *Business Process Fundamentals* 8. *HCM Transactions* - *Onboarding in Workday* - *Experience on at least one full life cycle Workday HCM implementation preferred.* - *Experience with Microsoft Productivity Tools (Office, Project, Visio).* - *Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.* *Skills:* - *Analytical/Problem Solving: Ability to identify critical issues, problems and opportunities and determine possible solutions.
