*Job description:* The role is for a Functional Business Analyst that will be part of a Data Cleansing Team. Data Cleansing involves the processes and activities to Extract data from various source systems on a periodic basis Enrich & maintain data in a staging database (or similar) Prepare cross reference mapping of relevant data across source systems Review, Approve and Baseline the data Data Cleansers will have the following Responsibilities: Extraction of Data from various systems Manual Enrichment of reference Data; incorporate review comments from Business Add Cross Reference Mapping Maintenance of Cleansing Scripts Required Skills and Experience: Past Data Cleansing Project Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry Understanding of Pipeline Systems and Processes (i.e. Forecasting, Scheduling/Nominations, Bookouts, Actualization, etc.). Understanding of the Physical Operations on how Oil companies ship products, manage logistics, and inventory tracking. Very analytical and creative in solving data problems (i.e. data mappings techniques, standardizations, cross referencing approaches, etc.).
