Position:- Sr. Business Analyst/Ariba Administrator Location:- NJ Duration:- 3-6 Months Skills:- * Looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst/Ariba Administrator to support the Procure to Pay(P2P) application which includes a hosted Ariba application integrated with a Lawson ERP system. * He or she will play a key role in planning, implementing and enhancing P2P solution to meet our strategic initiatives as well as provide support for day-to-day business needs. Essential Accountabilities:- * Provide second level Ariba support to end users. * Ariba Configuration Management: * Perform catalog management tasks. * Setup approval rules with necessary filters as per the business needs. * Perform data configuration tasks in Ariba using Ariba Administrator and inspector. * Troubleshoot data and workflow issues with hosted Ariba application. * Monitor and resolve technical issues related to interfaces between Ariba and various McGraw-Hill systems and ensure data accuracy. * Manage and control P2P application upgrades and system maintenance processes. * Basic knowledge of Ariba Supplier Network. * Basic skills of Oracle Data Base and Unix. * Hands-on programming experience with computer languages such as Microfocus Cobol, and SQL. * Able to handle defect tracking process, issue resolution and escalation procedures. * Translate Business Requirements to functional designs. * Design and develop repeatable solutions by leveraging common technology. * Evaluate technical changes required to accommodate future requirements / changes in business process. * Establish system controls in accordance with company's policies and procedures. * Develop/articulate detailed documentation of internal client requirements and processes. * Develop/articulate detailed documentation of internal client requirements and processes. Qualifications:- * A minimum of 3 years experience in below listed Ariba Modules preferably in an on-demand version : - Ariba Buyer/P2P - Ariba contract Compliance - Ariba Contract Workbench - Ariba Invoicing - Ariba Client tool * Solid general technology knowledge and experience, and the ability to recognize and translate business problems into technology-based solutions. * Experience working with a software development lifecycle methodology. * Experience in supply chain processes is a plus. * Excellent communication, writing, facilitation, negotiation, collaboration and interpersonal skills * Experience with Lawson ERP helpful but not required. * Strong analytical, problem solving, and debugging skills * Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred).
