- Must be able to understand complex business logic and design ETL processes in support of both internal and client-facing systems - Converts business requirements into working code as well as to analyze complex code and translate the business logic. - Develops T-SQL scripts to manage and move data in order to meet business requirements - Performs the required data transformations - Analyzes data patterns and usage, and provide recommendations on database design/tuning to ensure optimal performance - Utilizes SQL Server Integration Services to execute the necessary ETL workflow - Designs and performs tests on all code, data flows and package logic - Develops highly complex code for data movement, data transformation, data quality, data cleansing, and other ETL-related activities - Adheres to all data security and integrity policies - Creates and/or updates technical design documents including architecture and process diagrams - Communicates and collaborates with varied stakeholders (product owners, UX designers, project managers) and other development team members - Must be able to pivot with changing and demanding priorities.
