Worth area is looking for a .Net Developer with Agile for their 6+ month contract position. Th Agile Developer will practice Design For Testability (DFT), Design for Operability (DFO), and Test-Driven Development as part of a Scrum team chartered with production of key products for the business. The Agile Developer will demonstrate technical expertise on the .Net Microsoft development platform and will develop to project requirements and design specification for new and existing systems. The Agile Developer will participate in architectural discussions and will develop application software for the websites using proven agile development practices including Test-Driven Design/Development, Continuous Integration, Technical Debt Logging and Pay Down. Experience Minimum 4 years software development experience with Microsoft web-based application development technology. Minimum 1 year agile development experience, especially Test-Driven Development. Must have mastered knowledge with at least 3 years of experience in the following: VB.Net, ASP, ASP.Net, .Net 1.0+. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent experience . Helpful experiences include: Development with AJAX, SOA/ESB, .NET 3.5, WCS, WFW and familiarity with agile development processes. Skills and Abilities Test-Driven Development skill, including demonstrated experience with at least one .Net unit testing tool and one refactoring tool. Well rounded development experience with the Microsoft .Net development platform. Solid understanding of Web technologies (HTML, CSS, DHTML, AJAX, XML, XSL, etc.) . Efficient SQL programming skills with MS SQL Server 2000/2005. Demonstrated experience with object-oriented development principles and best practices. Productive accuracy and thoroughness in the implementation of project specifications and design requirements.
