Sr. Designer, *UX* Duration - 2 months This can be in NY or OH (Ohio preferred) EXPERIENCE REQUIRED • Bachelor’s Degree (Design / Interactive) or equivalent design experience • 3-5 years Web visual design experience Visual UX/UI designer to support the ux leads of our cross-functional VS Digital Platform product teams. Each team’s objective is to drive innovation and performance optimization for an area of victoriassecret.com. Intimately understand the inner workings of the area of focus, competitive space and the customer. Work on a monthly release schedule, utilizing an Agile/Lean UX methodology to identify, develop, and iterate customer-facing enhancements. RESPONSIBILITIES Visual & Functional Enhancements • Support innovating & proposing functional solutions to enhance the customer experience • Understand the enhancement objective to iterate for solution • Participate in Design Studio exercises as needed to generate ideas collectively • Assist in final UI leveraging VS standards and best practices • Collaborate with development team on technical recommendations • Navigate the site often to understand the site and uncover areas of opportunity • Create wireframes as needed Usability & Test Support • Help with the creation of layouts, low-fi concepts, motion tests, and/or prototypes for GOOB and/or formal usability sessions • Explore variations in micro interactions for optimal clarity throughout the experience • Observe usability sessions when possible & focus on extracting key learns to optimize the experience • Use best practices for preparing & interpreting usability observations Competitive Patterning • Participate in structured patterning exercises to Identify best-in-class functionality from the competition • Read reports from sites that aggregate findings based on larger usability sessions • Continued competitive awareness for product best-in-class.
