Location : Philadelphia, PA Duration : 3 + Months Keys: Candidate must give examples of developing custom SAP Portal applications and integration to meet complex business requirements. The right candidate should have a resume that reads like this description - they want someone who's done this type of project before, so that they can come in and begin work immediately with very little direction from management. Communication skills must be great. Client will hire base on phone a interview, so candidates need to be able to speak clearly and communicate their abilities Also make sure candidates have ample American experience (5+ years), as well as projects with well known companies. This will greatly improve chances of a quick close. Position Description: The candidate will develop applications for the enterprise portal. Development will refine and improve the user interface for ease of use The application will handle: user interactions data gathering analysis workflow ad-hoc reports Integration with back-end systems using ESB; Required Skills: Java enterprise application development and integration withing and outside of SAP Enterprise Portal. Sr level Java/JEE development skills (5 years) Experience developing custom Java components and par files on the SAP Portal platform standard portal APIs, and knowledge management APIs. Past experience creating components on the SAP portal using java/j2ee and portal/km API skill sets. Develop JSP, portal java components and J2EE components for NetWeaver Write JSP DynPage applications. Create web services for use by other developers. Write event triggered portal services, KM index management API's for iView specific searches on meta-data JSP DynPages Preferences: SUN Java Developer Certified, or other SUN Java certification Desired Skill Sets: Candidate will drive business requirements and configure the system based upon them.
