*ROLE :- **Non-Production Support & Release Engineer*
*Location:- **Durham, NC**.*
*Duration:- Long Term.*
*Experience:- 4-7+ Yrs*
• *Responsibilities:-*
• Provide Level1 and Level 2 operational support for non-production
environment
• Investigate and Fix system generated alerts
• Monitor and fix batch cycle issues in non-production environment
• Investigate and Fix user raised incidents
• Escalate issues to development team if issues are beyond scope
• Coordinate database refresh with DBA’s and development team
• Coordinate environment setup with shared services team
• Understand existing build and deployment process
• Perform deployments in non-production environments
• Migrate the build to different environments
Automation of build and deployment
*Mandatory Technical/Functional Skills:-*
• Demonstrated experience in supporting production or non-production
environments for application built on technology components Java, Tomcat,
Oracle, Informatica
• Should have strong working experience in *UNIX , Shell Scripting,
Oracle SQL, Informatica*
• Should have experience in SCM tool preferably Clearcase or Github
• Scheduling tool working experience preferably *Autosys*
• Experience using and supporting any of these monitoring and
alerting tools like *Sitescope,* *Splunk, Dynatrace, Hyperic HQ*
• Good to have deployment experience of web based applications on
web server like *Apache Tomcat*
Nice to have working experience of Jenkins or AnthillPro or udeploy
*General Skills**:-*
• Excellent communication skills
• Good co-ordination skills
• Multi task and being able to prioritize effectively
• Good in Troubleshooting support issues
• Nice to have support experience for waterfall and agile
development projects
Troubleshoot and resolve application deployment issues
