Persistence, dedication, organizational, multi-project management, team building § Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills § Extremely detail oriented. § Ability to deal with tight timelines, limited resources and still deliver on time and within scope. § Ability to facilitate and coordinate meetings in an effective manner. § Vendor management. § Keen ability to lead cross functional teams in a matrix environment. § Ability to lead several projects at once that have a common strategic goal. § Strong influence and team building skills in a matrix environment. § Ability to resolve conflict while keeping relationships in tact. § Work well under pressure with tight deadlines and little supervision. § Strategic and tactical awareness – ability to distinguish the difference between strategic goals of the organization, programs and tie them together for a successful outcome. § Excellent People Management skills. § Ability to work as a team player and lead projects with little guidance § Self starter and independent thinker – assertive – take charge attitude § TSYS a big plus, credit card industry a big plus. § Formal training in project management methodology is required. § Technically proficient in MS Project, MS Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Excel. PMP certification a big plus. Responsibilities This senior project manager candidate will be responsible for leading and managing multiple large major change programs for our consumer and commercial card portfolio. These major change programs will consist of multiple projects rolled up into one.
