*Specifically they need someone strong on the business intelligence/ reporting side with OBIEE, but also have strong overall knowledge of other data warehousing concepts like data modeling, ETL (Informatica), and Teradata. This is contract-to-hire opportunity.* *Position:** OBIEE Developer / Data Modeler* *Duration:** 6 Months contract to Hire* *Location:** Dayton, OH (45 minutes north of Cincinnati)* *Job Description:* *Currently putting a tremendous amount of focus and spend into improving their new product. They are trying to improve the score they currently have which is an overall evaluation of their new product. This person will be working hands on with OBIEE 11g, Informatica PowerCenter, Tableau as well as Teradata (target database). The team that this person will be a part of is not specialized, so each member has to do a bit of everything when needed. This will include some light database work (within Teradata), data modeling, ETL (Informatica), as well Business Intelligence reporting utilizing both OBIEE and Tableau.* *Skill Summary:* *Senior level skills to design, develop, document, and support reporting, analytics, dashboards and repositories within Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE). Work with Business Analysts to translate functional requirements into technical requirements for reporting and analytics. Work with ETL Developers to deliver front-end solutions within OBIEE and/or extended data model. Standard Job Requirements: At least 8-10 years of Oracle BI technical experience Hands-on OBIEE, dashboard, and report design and development Working knowledge of ETL design considerations Experience with Tableau as well as Teradata data warehouse is a plus* *Experience with design and mapping documentation* *Complete projects on time and within budget Provide comprehensive weekly/monthly status reports Strong written communication skills including technical design documentation, proof of concept and prototype analysis and documentation. Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management Participate in and/or lead meetings and workshops Effectively work with business and project team members across the globe whether face-to-face, web conference, telephone or email.
