High energy, results driven person with strong interpersonal skills* *- Team oriented* *- Takes responsibility for satisfaction of assigned project* *- Effective at speaking and collaborating with others* *- Effective at Technical writing and conducting vulnerability research* *- Successful Candidates must have excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with more senior co-workers and leadership with confidence and clarity* *- Review and analyze existing security solutions for effectiveness and develop strategies to enhance configuration, design, and administrative overhead* *- Manage the development and deployment of new security solutions in a highly operational and complex environment* *- Provide technical leadership and vision around security tools to balance scalability, stability, cost, robustness, flexibility, and ongoing support requirements* *- Support security infrastructure and liaise with system and network administrators to assist with implementation and problem resolution for managed security solutions* *- Assist with the use of controls, tools, and best practices to identify anomalous events and security infractions* *- Design, implement, and test security controls and manage the operational aspects of security infrastructure* *- Maintain knowledge and expertise in current and advanced security solutions, acting as an Information Security subject matter expert* *- Research emerging technologies in support of security enhancement and development efforts* *- Assist in security incident investigations* *- Assist in developing responses to internal & external audits, penetration tests, and vulnerability assessments.* *JOB REQUIREMENTS:* *- A minimum of 5 years of related security experience with a Bachelor’s degree,* *- Hands on experience with IDS/IPS, Rapid7 or Qualys* *- Proficient with SIEM and NAC technologies and MDM* *- Proficient with common security device functions, such as IDS/IPS, DLP (Data Leakage Protection), Advanced Threat, etc.* *- Proficient with common network device functions, such as routers, switches* *- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or 5 years IT experience.
