To know more about *Allied Informatics *please visit us at www.alliedinformatics.com *Title : Mid Level Weblogic Admin* *Location : *Omaha, NE *Duration : *6 months contract (extendable) Looking for a mid level resource Responsibilities include: • Understand the lifecycle of Configuring and deploying application code sets in various archive formats. • Manage Java Virtual Machine (JVM) settings and options including class path, heap sizes, Java argument configurations, and other system settings. • Evaluate, test, and deploy software patches, fixes, and upgrades. • Troubleshoot application problems, check server configurations, and analyze log file entries • Use networking, operating system, application tools to analyze and modify performance settings to improve operational performance • Support the analysis and recommendation of both technical solutions and maintaining the application infrastructure. • Limited development of tools and automation to support the functions of the team. Required Experience / Skills include: • Java development or Java Application Server administration experience, including strong troubleshooting background. • Knowledge of Web Application development and Web Application server administration. • Weblogic and /or JBoss System Administration experience in predominantly Linux environments. Desired Experience / Skills include: • Strong familiarity with multiple Unix/Linux • Experience with monitoring tools such as Introscope, Sitescope and byte-code level instrumentation products. • Familiarity with Spring Framework architecture and programming principles.
