We have the following contract position.
Drupal Developer
Location: Irvington , NY
Duration: 6+ months
Lead - Drupal Development
Onsite requirement for a 6-8 years experienced Drupal development lead
at the customer location in NY.
The candidate be able understand Drupal customization needs and be
involved in a lead role in the entire software development lifecycle.
The candidate should have an extensive Open-Source PHP / Drupal
experience and should be proficient on web-based software development.
The candidate should be capable to of training other members of the team
on the Drupal platform to ensure knowledge transfer of the development
requirements.
Required Skills:
Proficient in Drupal 6.0, including custom module development, key
contributed modules and the core API
Proficient in PHP, ideally within a GNU/Linux, Apache, MySQL environment.
Proficient in SQL, relational databases and MySQL, XML and Python knowledge
Proficient in JavaScript and familiar with major JavaScript libraries
Proficient in the maintenance and administration of Drupal modules and
sites
Proficient in hand-coding HTML and tableless CSS
Thorough understanding and proven implementation of W3C Web Standards
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of Python
Experience with Version Control tool -- GIT
Training and Mentoring Experience.
