Job Title: Sr. SQL DBA Job Type: Full ? time ( back fill position)- Location: Rockaway NJ
Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of this position is working on database projects in support of core business development goals. This involves maintenance of current database programs, enhancements and development of new databases. Qualifications: - Expert SQL Server experience - Experience Designing and Developing Schemas - Data Modeling - Understanding of ETL - Experience with another open source database - Experience with Linux a plus - My SQL and Postgres experience preferred. The client looking for someone with Expert level SQL Server experience and who is interested in working in SQL, My SQL and Postgres; and who preferably has experience working with linux. If candidate has experience in SQL server with expert level on Sybase, Oracle or MySQL (which are all SQL databases), Manager would be interested in talking to them as expert status on any of them would mean they are a strong DBA. Candidate needs to know that our group is moving towards a fully MySQL and Postgres environment.
