POSITION :DSP Engineer LOCATION :Chelmsford,MA LENGTH :6+ Month Contract Job Description: Design, develop and debug DSP Software for a next generation wireless networks. Responsibilities include development of algorithms, design and implementation of base–station and mobile–station PHY and MAC layer functionality. Core Skills: DSP programming experience developing (design/code/test/support) real-time DSP applications, particularly on TI DSP processors. Experience in developing DSP system software using BIOS constructs including timers, task synchronizers, event notification, memory management, and buffer management. Experience in debugging and integrating DSP-FPGA communication protocols. Experience in wireless standards CDMA (EVDO, 1xRTT) and UMTS. LTE is a plus. Experience developing message-based communication protocols. Network protocol design, implementation, specifically familiarity with TCP/IP protocol suite and also general networking principles is a plus. Experience of following a design from inception based on customer requirements to complete field deployment and customer usage.
