Position *:* *ETL developer / Datastage ETL developer* Location: Charlotte, NC Duration: 06 months+ Looking for an experienced ETL developer to join the Premier Connect Data team in the emerging business unit. Local candidate preferred. 2-3 MONTHS+ 55+ AN HOUR Datastage ETL development is primary function of this resource. - *DBMS used: Netezza* *- Some Autosys developement required to schedule DataStage jobs* - *Some SQL coding and analysis performed* *- Must be familiar with data warehousing concepts (star schema, snowflake schema, etc)* *- Able to communicate effectively* *- Able to learn and adapt quickly* Designs, codes, repairs, enhances, integrates, upgrades, converts, provides level-3 support, and administers application software, and middleware. Work is performed within guidelines set by management regarding the development life cycle, version control, source code control, documentation, unit testing, code verification, code deployment, and team collaboration. Provides day-to-day guidance to Associate Developers and Developers. Core Competencies: (Highly Proficient) *Advanced ETL expertise in Ab Initio; Expert with Datastage-Microsoft DTS; Database Administration including oracle, SQL Server and Redbrick*; Unix and Windows Systems; Advanced Query tools; Advanced knowledge of testing and QA procedures to include QA automation applications; PERL scripting; Datastage; Expert knowledge in ETL development and processes. *Minimum Requirements:* Bachelor's Degree required. Area of study in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Informatics. 5 – 7 years of experience. Progressive, related application development experience. Experience in the following technical areas with demonstrated high proficiency: Software Design / Development and has coded many applications used for business.
