We have an Urgent opening .Please see the Job Description Below and let me know if you have any consultant available. *Role: SAS Programmer with Unix and Oracle * *Location: Monterey Park, CA* *Duration: 6+ months* *Responsibilities:* IMP Note: We are looking for a SAS resource that is equally strong on SAS programing, Oracle Data Base and UNIX. *Responsibilities * • Work closely with the business team, ITG team and contribute effectively for the growth of the organization. • Develop robust SAS codes for carrying out ETL task to move high volume of data across platforms like MainFrame, Oracle. • Carry out SAS code optimization task to resolve critical performance issues. • Proactively involve in resolving issues on Enterprise products. • Develop UNIX scripts for batch processing of SAS projects. • Develop design documents, be a team player in sharing knowledge to strengthen SAS team. *Requirements * • Equally strong on *SAS programing, Oracle Data Base and UNIX*. • At least 5 years of SAS programming experience in Windows and Unix environment with deep understanding of programming concepts • 5+ years of experienced in extracting and loading data on database servers like Oracle, Teradata through SAS codes or Data integration studio. • 3+ years of experience in UNIX or related operating systems, with ability to develop shell scripts for automation, SAS log mining. • 2+ years of Working knowledge of SAS Enterprise Guide Process flow. • Excellent communication skills with an ability to explain the SAS concepts to other developers. • Bachelor degree in computer science/quantitative field is a minimum requirement.
