*Title: Java/J2EE Developers* *Location: Santa Clara, CA * *Duration: Long-term * *Rate: Open* *** Rate is now open but candidate must have VMWare experience. * *** LOCALS to Bay area/CA are the best; but will look at others not too far from CA * *Responsibilities* Develop highly scalable Cloud Middleware and Automation platform that interfaces with different subsystems. Design and develop functions to automate compute, network and storage components in a virtualized infrastructure. Work with various internal and external teams on defining a set of standard APIs for each application subsystem. Translate functional requirements into technical and API specifications. Develop programming interfaces for each API. Create development environment for efficient testing and integration. Provide support to production systems. *Required skills* Looking for Strong Java Developers. Along with Java development knowledge, If the person has background on Systems (Unix or Windows), VMware Virtualization or HP Operations Orchestration (HP OO) would be a Big plus. 1+ years’ experience developing complex enterprise solutions Strong Experience in object oriented design and development skills in Java programming. Strong Experience in J2EE frameworks including Spring, Hibernate, DAO, EJB, JMS, MVC. Understanding of VMWare Virtualization technologies. Experience in HP Operations Orchestration (HP OO) or HP Server Automation (Opsware) is a plus. Experience in developing highly available (HA) and secured SOAP and RESTFul based web services using Spring Web Services and Apache Axis, with ESB technology experience such as Mule, ServiceMix a plus. Experience in data modeling, SQL development and performance tuning using Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL, with large data experience a plus. Strong Experience in producing and automating reusable scripts and programs (PL/SQL, Java Script, Unix shell, PERL, etc.). Development experience in a Unix/Linux and Windows environment. Must be a team player, flexible, self-motivated and analytical with excellent communications skills, both oral and written.
