UI Developer

Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills

5-7 years’ experience as a Presentation Developer at a major agency, retail
or financial services institution or large ecommerce site.
A robust understanding of HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML markup and
standardization practices. An in-depth knowledge of standards-based web
development and accessibility requirements is a must. The ideal candidate
should have substantial experience developing and maintaining multiple
websites on Enterprise level Content Management Systems.
Must have practical experience with accessibility, DOM scripting and CSS
page layouts. Related skills include Adobe Creative Suite, Ajax, JSON, XML
and deep understanding of CSS.

Roles and responsibility

1. Execute high quality web presentation development under the direction of
the Development Manager
2. Communicate Presentation Development and Architecture standards and
adhere to all presentation architecture and enterprise development standards
3. Work closely with content management, web usability to develop designs
that meet the goals of the site design and user experience teams
4. Collaboration with UX and business partners to preserve the integrity of
the Web Presentation Architecture and client-side programming standards
5. Various other duties as assigned

Desirable Technical / Functional Skills

Understanding of CSS 1, CSS2, and CSS3 standards.
Experience in utilizing different types of content management systems.
