*Job Summary:*

Join the team of engineers building our local search and advertising mobile
applications in use by millions of users each month.  Collaborate with
product management and designers to deliver compelling functionality to our
flagship application, YPmobile, as well as developing new applications.

Develop, test and deploy Android applications according to product and
design specifications.  Analyze and debug crash and bug reports.  Work with
cross-functional teams to define and validate web services for use by
mobile application.  Create rapid prototypes to demonstrate and assess
feature and/or interface proposals.  Maintain the Android codebase using
industry standards and best practices.

*Candidate Requirements:*



·      2+ Years developing Android applications for mobile devices using
Java

·      5+ years of software engineering experience

·      Expertise with Java and the Android SDK

·      Experience with iOS development is a plus

·      Working knowledge of Version Controls like GitHub, CVS/SVN

·      Ability to work as a member of a team in an agile environment

·      Good communication and problem-solving skills

·      Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
