Job Title : Programmer Network Admininistrator Work Location : Lisle , IL USA Project Length: 1 year Job Description : Programmer/Network Admininistrator Candidate will be responsible for assisting a team of engineers who maintain the performance of a customer's wireless network. Team monitors and analyzes customer's network through the use of a client/server based application running on a SUN platform. Candidate will assist with the maintenance and support of a 3rd party (IBM) application using an Oracle database. He/she will use the application to generate reports to assist performance team members. Candidate will create UNIX, C, visual basic, HTML tools to help automate the generation and presentation of reports. Candidate will be responsible for minor administration tasks, routine maintenance and upgrades to server application. *Skills Required:* Extensive *scripting experience with the various UNIX tools* (*grep, awk, sed, etc)* to support existing UNIX scripts and develop new scripts on an as needed basis. Extensive Microsoft Excel experience is required to provide data analysis (charting, pivot tables, etc) along with in depth knowledge of Visual Basic.
