*Job Title:* *Wintel System Administrators*

*Location:* Austin, TX

*Duration:* 6+ Months



*Role Summary*

The Systems Engineer will be responsible for maintaining/upgrading the
current infrastructure systems, implement new infrastructure, and provide
support to the organization for these systems.

*Required Skills*

· In depth knowledge of either Windows or Linux operating systems
including architecture, configuration, and troubleshooting.

· Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze highly
technical issues to determine the root cause and the appropriate solution.

· The ability to look at the requirements for a project and
architect a solution to meet the needs.

· Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate
effectively with many different levels of the organization.

· Participate in off-hour support and be on call for a rotating
support.

· Capable of leading projects with little oversight.

· Ability to quickly learn new technologies.

· Deep understanding of Windows Active Directory and how to manage
security with it.



*Secondary Skills *

*The potential candidate must have deep knowledge in some of these skills*

· Knowledge of either Windows or Linux operating systems including
architecture, configuration, and troubleshooting.

· Microsoft Exchange and/or Office 365

· Architecting and Managing Terminal Server environments such as
Microsoft and Citrix XenApp

· Managing virtualized infrastructures

· Microsoft System Center Operations Manager

· Knowledge of DHCP, DNS, WINS,

· Microsoft Clustering

· Microsoft Lync

· Management of Linux environments including patching and monitoring

· Managing, configuring, and updating Server Hardware

· Experience managing Fiber SAN environments including zoning Fiber
channel switches

· Experience architecting solutions to improve security in an IT
environment
