*Job Description:*
We are searching for a certified PeopleSoft HR 8.9 consultant to serve as
HRMS Functional Consultant. The project is to exchange teacher licensure
information between Portlands PeopleSoft system and the state licensing
board (TSPC) for more efficient processing of teacher license renewals. The
project location is in Portland, Oregon. This is an immediate opportunity
for an initial period of 60 days.

*SKILLS REQUIRED: *
5+ years experience with PeopleSoft HRMS module, INCLUDING K-12 Education
experience.
Experience as functional consultant on multiple HRMS implementations
including Fit/Gap analysis, System Configuration, Development, and Testing.
Ability to translate customer requirements into functional definitions,
create mock-up pages, define reports requirements and work with developers
to complete the development.
Must have PS 8.9 experience. PS 9.0 experience is a plus.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

*POSITION DUTIES: *
Gather functional requirements to meet the objectives, meeting with all
stakeholders in the Human Resources Dept, the Information Technology Dept,
and TSPC.
Analyze and document business requirements for implementing the data
exchange, including which fields on the Licensure and Certification panel
are to be updated.
Analyze and document business requirements to determine how best to notify
employees via automated email of their licensure status. Periodic email
notifications are needed at 90, 60, 30, 14 and 7 days of expiration.
Analyze and document business requirements to determine how best to notify
employees via automated email of action needed for their Highly Qualified
Teacher status.
Create specifications for development of data exchange and new reports, as
needed.
Communicate with functional staff and IT staff concerning project
requirements.
Coordinate functional and system testing for successful project
implementation.
Develop PS queries to support reporting requirements.
Develop user training documentation, and transfer knowledge to customer
staff as needed.
