Title : SQL DBA Location : Nashville, TN or Atlanta, GA Duration : 3-6 Months Contract to Hire "Greencard or US Citizens" MUST: 3-5 years of SQL Server Database management experience is required. 3-6 Extensive experience in SQL Server installation and administration on SQL 2000, 2005 and 2008. Experience with Transactional and Snapshot Replication as well as log shipping Experience with Veritas Storage Foundation and Veritas Clustering Candidate must be proficient in SQL Server 2005 T-SQL. Including, but not limited to, stored procedures, triggers, functions, indexes and ACID properties. Thorough understanding of optimization, performance tuning, SQL profiler Solid understanding of SQL Server security administration Experience and understanding of DTS/SSIS packages. Knowledge of server hardware and Windows Server PostgreSQL, MySQL and PowerShell skills a plus Must be detailed oriented and have excellent written and verbal communication skills PLUS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems preferred.
